The UCSD DBF project team seeks students interested in improving their knowledge of design and build techniques for model airplane flight. The project team is broken down into functional sub-teams which allows members to specialize in a particular discipline. Each team has a Lead that will train and instruct their members. You do not need any prior knowledge or experience to join; we will teach you everything!

The recruitment cycle occurs during the first half of Fall Quarter of each academic year, and training starts during the second half. However, it's never too late to join! Our leadership will always work with you to figure out how exactly you can participate on the project that ensures you are learning and contributing in a meaningful and fulfilling way. We are always looking for interested R/C pilots, experienced or not!
